May Day Celebration!
Canyon Rim Park Amphitheater
3100 S Grace Street, Millcreek 84109.
You can park on either side of the park to access the amphitheater and the West pavilion. Vostok Burger will be parked near the pickleball courts.
This is a family-friendly, picnic event. You are welcome to bring your own dinner, relax on the lawns with your dogs, sit in the amphitheater standards and run around the playgrounds.
Musical performances in the amphitheater include David Michael McCormick, Jim Bone, Mel Soul, Trace Wiren, Derrek Wright, and more!
Speakers include UEA member and 2021 Utah Teacher of the Year John Arthur, Teamsters Local 222 member and “Pride at Work” advocate for the LGBTQIA+ community in the trades Zachary Angell, John R. Lawson (United Mine Workers of America (UMWA) leader during the Colorado Coalfield War and the Ludlow Massacre) descendant and Starbucks organizer Jacob Dawson, AFSCME local 1004 member and Don’t Mourn.com founder and emcee Angel Vice.
